Broken Windows, Brighter Futures
Cracked texts, their knowledge worn thin,
Leaky roofs, a constant drip within.
Meager lunches, a carton of white,
Is this the path to a future so bright?
School funding’s a joke, a cruel twist of fate,
Leaving teachers strapped, in a struggling state.
Resources, not duct tape, that’s what we need,
To nurture young minds, plant a flourishing seed.
Invest in their classrooms, their tools and their dreams,
For these are the minds that will chase future’s beams.
