Network Director Partnership for the Future of Learning

Cyrus Driver (he/him) leads the Partnership for the Future of Learning as Director. The Partnership is a sponsored project of Rockefeller Philanthropy Advisors. Cyrus led the launch of the Partnership in 2015 at the National Public Education Support Fund (NPESF) in his role as Senior Director of Strategy and Program, also helping to growing NPESF partnership strategies and serving as Interim Executive Director in 2019. From 2012-2015, Cyrus was Vice-President for Strategy at the Hartford Foundation for Public Giving, launching their efforts to become a pro-active, visible leader on issues of regional inequality. Cyrus worked at the Ford Foundation from 1998-2011, principally as a key architect of the Foundation’s K-12 education and community college strategies. He studied the economics of organizations and educational systems during the 1990’s while also consulting with large school districts in the San Francisco Bay Area. Cyrus’s career began as a community organizer, adult educator, and coalition-builder, including work at Designs For Change in Chicago from 1985-1991. Cyrus holds a Ph.D. in the economics of education, and M.A. in economics, both from Stanford, an M.P.P. from UC Berkeley, and a B.A. from the University of Chicago.
