Ayana Smith is a junior at Cornell University pursuing a degree in urban and regional studies. She is passionate about using news media to drive transformative change in the U.S. education system, and currently serves as the Storytelling Programs Coordinator at Student Voice and has former organizing and journalism experience as the former Director of Press at Teens Take Charge.
