Dismantling Milwaukee’s School-to-Prison Pipeline with the Youth Power Agenda
In 2018, Center for Popular Democracy and Leaders Igniting Transformation (LIT) defeated a discipline policy in Milwaukee Public Schools. The policy would have been particularly detrimental to students of color, as the worst part of it would have required more police involvement in schools.
