The Partnership for the Future of Learning's 2024 updated vision outlines the role of public education in advancing a more just, inclusive, multiracial democracy. Public Education in a Strong Democracy envisions school systems that are connected, responsive, and accountable to students, families, and communities, and offers guiding principles to help realize this vision. This update builds on the Partnership's founding document, Updating American Public Education, adding a systemic lens and elevating the voices of communities facing historic and ongoing underinvestment.
