September 2025 Newsletter: Passage of Federal Voucher Legislation

Our new September Voucher Newsletter sheds more light on the federal tax credit voucher program, which went into effect on July 4th as a part of the “One Big Beautiful Bill Act” (H.R. 1). This newsletter highlights how inaccessible the voucher program is for many students and families. Instead of creating a fair and inclusive system, the voucher program funds billionaires over students and drains money from public schools. More specifically, the legislation will impact low-income communities and communities of color the most.
